  1. yup! very normal. my little girl will be 9 weeks tomorrow and the spots have now faded. She got them at 3 weeks old. What helped a lot more was that we started bathing her every other day instead of every two days like the doctor recommended.

  2. yes its normal just the hormones from the childbirth. they will go away in a couple of weeks.

  3. Yes my 4 week old boy has them all over his face, health visitor said its just his body ridding itself of the toxins still lurking from when he was in the womb, if it helps, we've been advised not to use any 'products' on his skin so just wash him in water and then use olive oil as it is natural to moisturise his dry skin, it works really well.

  4. Yes, especially if she is napping right after eating.  The milk stays in the folds of their neck, between the blanket/mattress and their cheeks, etc.  Just use a wipe and get her neck before you put her down for a nap and it should help.

  5. They're just milk spots.  I wouldn't worry about it they will fade in a few weeks or so.

  6. Just make sure she isn't too warm it could be a wee heat rash, as long as it isn't causing her any distress it should be ok

  7. Do they look a little like pimples?  If so then yes, its normal.  Its actually baby acne but it will go away within a few weeks to a few months.  Its just the hormones going crazy but that will all settle soon!

  8. yes its normal, my son had the same, it looks bad but soon clears up.just don't put anything on it , wash it with with water.

  9. When I had my babies (my son is now 4 and my daughter is 6 months old) I was calling my mom every time I saw a new spot or mark.  She would tell me the baby was fine and not to worry about it, but as a new mom you can't help but worry.  The only person that will ease your mind as to weather its normal or not is your baby's doctor.  Better to be safe than sorry, take the little tyke in for a once over.

  10. My son has the same spots on his face and chest also. Its the hormones in the milk and will dissappear later on.

  11. Yes it is known as MILK RASH it is actually just the sweat glands maturing. Look worse when baby is warm, just fed etc. Can look like teenage acne. do not use products, just cool/warm water., no squeezing pimples as can cause infection. will go after a couple of weeks but skin will feel quite dry qnd will need vaseline or similar
