  1. Even if there aren't any vets close to you who are open, you could always find the phone number for a 24 hour clinic and just call them.  I'm sure they'd be willing to give you some advice on the phone.

  2. If he won't eat or drink water I would try putting him where he normally sleeps and constantly pet him. I would call the vet as soon as you can. Most vets have an emergency night clinic that they refer you to and they usually will tell you what that is if that have an answering service or a phone message box. Call whoever they refer and tell them what happened. Make sure you deworm him afterwards. Chances are he will get worms after eating a cockroach and it could be bad considering how small he may be or how large the roach was. Good luck.

  3. Cats eat bugs - he will be ok - he is just vomitting because it didn't agree with his stomach.  Take away food for 6 hours then if he eats a little and doesn't vomit you can give him some more - I would let him drink though.

When my cat ate things that didn't agree with him the doc told me not to let him eat for 12 hours and then give him only canned food or baby food meats (jars of baby food that's turkey or beef or lamb - not the mixed meals) for a day or two to let the stomach settle down.

  4. Force it to drink water for now.  and eat other foods. so it will try wash it out of its system. and bring it to the vet as soon as it opens,

  5. take him to the night vet

  6. protein.

  7. Unless the cockroach has been poisoned, you have nothing to worry about.

  8. do you have charcoal pills, maybe the hospital can give them to you

they absorb toxins, you could make them liquid and force them down with a dropper,  the vet has to have a emergency number

try a all night pharmacy ask who ever is working

  9. bring it to the vet when it opens

  10. aww poor baby! just keep the kitten as comfortable as possible until a clinic is open. theres not much you can do until then. your kitten will be fine though.
