I have been noticing it for a week or so now, but she hasn't complained of anything hurting. I'm just concerned.

  1. Twenty-five years ago I took all three of my children to the doctor for this condition. I was truly worried!

My doctor smiled and said "I have six kids of my own, it's from a food coloring in a drink!"

In my case, it was from Hawaiian Punch. It isn't dangerous in any way, just weird!

  2. If she eats fruit loops (or other cereals like that), Hawaiian puch, kool-aid, that could have something to do with it. It has happened to me personally :(

  3. What has she been eating?

  4. It is very normal, It is all about the color of foods they are eating.

  5. my son had the same thing a few weeks ago.  He only had it once though.  we were wondering if it was connected to a blue koolaid type drink that he had.  Not sure, though.

  6. It has to be something he is eating. Bright green isn't natural, but if nothing is hurting, I can't see what could be wrong. It wouldn't hurt to take him to the Dr (this would most likely mean collecting a stool sample). Watch his diet, ask his school if they are feeding him something different or if at lunch his friends are sharing.

  7. seriously...why would you ask random strangers about your daughter's health and not her pediatrician?

  8. gatorade can do that to them...
