all children in his school , their mums will drop them off and go but he will not do that until he hears the bell rings and he kisses me goodbye and go , i talked to his teacher trying to find if someone bothers him at school or does he have friends she was kind of astonished with that she said that he is very popular and all his friends loves him, and he plays with them ,i tried to let him and go but he just followed me at the gate and started to cry very loudly, and make a big seen , and became very aggressive and started to push the teacher so i had to go back and stay next to him. i talked tho his teacher again and decided not to let him wait in the court by let him with her in the class waiting for the bell but he reacted the same way, i did everything i could do i talked to him and explained everything but he will answer me : i can't do it. have you ever been in that situation before any suggestions plz help

  1. maybe you can drop him off at the time that the bell rings for a few days so he gets used to going straight to class and not staying with you for a while then go a little bit early every day or try walking in with another mother so your son can talk to his friend and have someone to talk to as soon as he gets in the court yard and wont have to find his friends just a suggestion

  2. You need to be firm, and tell him that when he gets to school, he must go on in and get ready to start his day. Tell him before you leave, you are going to drop him off and go to take care of something (housework, run to the store, errands).  Then remind him when you get there that you have to go, say goodbye and leave. It will take a few times with tears, but he'll get the idea.

  3. Sounds like he thinks school is not real until that bell rings.  It has some sort of meaning to him.  Or maybe something bad happened without you there right before the bell rang and knows he will be ok once it does.  You will sort it out probably when you find out what his phobia is about that bell.....

  4. I would maybe when you get there ask him if he sees any of his friends that he would like to talk to or play with and while he is talking to him/her you could walk away and leave try to keep him distracted and then leave maybe he wont notice your gone.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!
