  1. Teach him to wash his hands allot and to make sure not to touch his mouth, eyes, nose and face when he hasn't washed his hands. Make sure he gets lots of sleep, good food, and vitamins too.

  2. It is normal for a kid to get sick a lot the first time they enter a group setting with a lot of other kids. Of course make sure he is washing his hands a lot and right before he leaves school. But he will encounter every bug in your area, get sick a lot and then, once he has been exposed to a lot of the germs, he won't get sick as much. That is just the way it works, unfortunately. And he does need to be exposed to things, as that is the way our immunity gets built up.

Take care of him, and wait it out. I wish I had a better solution, but that is just the way it works. Good luck

  3. go to the doctor,duhhhh.

  4. you should go to a doctor, and that used to happend

to me a lot, so my parents started giving me vitamins so i

could be stronger and my defenses stayed in a good level,,

so i think vitamins would work goon on your son, but consult a doctor before taking any decitions =)

good luck and hope he gets better =)

  5. I know its totally not going to make him feel physically better BUT when i was a little kid I used to get ear infections all the time and my mom would by me little presents every time I was sick =)

That always used to bring my attention away from the cold or whatever.

  6. I would go to my doctor and tell him you are concerned with the amount of illnesses he has had lately.  Ask if his immune system may be low, or is he anemic, etc.  There may be nothing to it, but I'd prefer to know than wonder.  If you really feel something is wrong, it probably is.

  7. Take him to the doctor for a checkup.

  8. well make sure he is washing his hands ALOT kindegarten is a dirty place but it is fun and he needs to go and make sure he is eating healthy

  9. tell him to stop touchin random ****!!

  10. did he go to daycare or preschool before?  If not, it is normal for him to get sick all the time, because he is not use to the germ in enviornment like that.  Don't worry, he will get better after a year or so.  If you are really concern, take him to the doctor and check it out.

  11. was he in daycare or any type of school before this?  if he wasnt - than it is very normal for him to be sick like this.  This is his first time exposed to alot of germs at once and his body needs to build up resistance to them - i am sure this summer and next year will be very different.  Kids who have been through other child environments have already gone through the being sick all year routine.

    hope this helps

  12. Don't worry this is very normal. =) the more they get sick when they're small, the lesser they will when they grow up. it's true =]

don't give him any medicine if it's just cold, drink lots of water

  13. Who told you that wasn't normal? Every kindergartener parent I've ever talked to, and in my experience, had an influx of colds and flu. It's all part of passing germs along to each other in a crowded environment.

Make sure he gets minimum 8 hours of sleep every night, consistent bedtime, and a multivitamin in the morning. He'll build up immunities soon enough!

  14. deffinitely go the doctors always be safe rather than sorry especially with young children. =) c, x

  15. Start with teaching good hygene.  Have him wash his hands frequently.  Regular sleep is very important as well.  Add in Vitamins, especially C, and exercise and you son will not only not get sick as often but he will also build healthy habits that could last a lifetime.

  16. This will probably get better over time.   If he was home with you before going to kindergarten, he probably did not have a lot of exposure to the infections and viruses that kids pass around in school.    Make sure he washes his hands frequently, give him a multivitamin every day, and put him to bed fairly early each night so he gets a good night's sleep.  That will make him strong and resistant to infection.  Once he hits first grade next year, you won't see this happening as much.  Been there, done this.

  17. well. this 5 yr old sounds like he just needs to take a break and build his system agaisn't this flu and cold season
