My 50" Hitachi LCD Projection television keeps shutting off for no reason.?

The television will shut off, you can hear it click, and then it won't turn back on for a while. Any ideas what could be causing this and is it an expensive repair? Thank you!

Sounds like a power supply problem - especially if you actually hear a click... and the fact that it will turn on again in a while suggests possibly a bad capacitor.  I'll bet it only stays on for about 8 to 10 minutes max, right?  Hard to say about the cost.  Best bet is to look for a place that will give you a free estimate - get the problem diagnosed and then call around for the best repair price.
