My 50cc Speedfight 2 keeps cutting out and is going through 3 times as much petrol as it should do! HELP ME!!?

100 Miles ago I had a new piston and barrel would this cause the petrol problem and oil is getting low constantly would the new barrel and piston cause this?? my other question is the bike keeps cutting out if im at the traffic lights let go of the throttle for 3 seconds it cuts out!!!! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!

not sure about the first part.

for second part you might have a blown gasket. i had the same problem with a bike shutting down when letting off the throttle. i took it apart starting with air filter, carb..and found a torn gasket between the carb and engine. i replaced it and it was fine after that. so you might try that.

the second problem may be whats causing the first too
