My 6 week old kitten has a respitory infection...?

She's moving around slowish and has the eye mucus... please help I don't want her to die!!!

  1. You probably need to have her checked out by a vet and given antibiotics for any URI.  She probably needs worm medicine at six weeks so a good time to see your vet.

  3. Most vets have emergency numbers you can call if you need help ASAP (after hours). They usually leave that number on their answering machines so give them a call to get it. I don't think there is much you can do as of home remedies.

  4. She will probably be fine for the night, but please call an emergency clinic now, just in case.  Tell them exactly what's going on, and they can let you know if it's an emergency.  And find out the earliest hours for the vet in the morning, and be there!

  5. Take her to the vet, stop wasting time by asking yahoo people what you should do, she is very young so it is more likely to harm her or possibly kill her, she should be fine until tomorrow morning, but get her to the vet asap.
