My 6 year old grandson asked me this!!!!?

Question

If ghosts can walk through walls and glide down stairs, why don't they fall through the floor?

I just didn't know what to tell him..

Please assist me with this one.

Because they aren't a flesh body, they float, sort of like flying, therefore they aren't touching the floor....an approach to take if you dont want to tell him they aren't real.

Well i wold say this "Well they dont fall through the floor becasue there not real. There just make belive" Or something like that.

well u could do 2 things.

1.= just change the subject and tell him not to worry.

2.=tell him ther are no ghost and they are not real this might upset him/her but if he goes and talks to his/her mates at school then they might pik on him.

p.s my little cousin told me tht he sore a ghost and i told him tht ghost arnt real he took it well and hasnt spoke about it since.
