  1. try not to feed him very late. ask him if he has to go potty before bed

  2. Have him go before bed. If he doesn't go wake him up before you go to bed and make him go to the bathroom. If he is constipated you need to make sure he is getting enough water and fiber during the day.

  3. Try to have him go during the day. Try adding fiber to his diet or try giving him those medicines to make him go ONLY AFTER SEEKING A DOCTOR!. But try fiber first so he will want to go during the day.

  4. I agree with most people here... You SHOULD get him to go see a doctor as soon as possible. I would recomend eatting things high in fiber in the morning and noon, this might help him if her's constipated.  It's either that, or you can have the doctor recomend a certain type of medicine for him. I hope you find this useful!

  5. Call his doctor.  He mayhave a condition called encopresis. He may be holding stool and is constipated.  The stool comes out at night because he is relaxed and his muscles relax allowing it to come out. Having him wear a pull up is not a bad idea but there is defintiely an under lying problem.

  6. Has he been to see a pediatrician for this ? At 6 he should be very aware when he has the urge to use the bathroom. I would schedule an appointment and in the mean time get him to sit on the toilet for five to ten minutes before bed to see if he can go. The pullups are another very good idea otherwise your dealing with such a mess.

  7. He needs to see a pediatrician.  At his age he should be able to control his bowels.  I know that must be frustrating for both you and him.  Please be patient with him.

  8. not sure you really can stop him..........have him wear pullups at night
