My 6 yr old sister.....?

Question

Her birthday party is in a couple of hours and I have been given the job of a going to the store and buying her birthday outfit..any ideas? what store? hairdo?

if the party is not themed..then buy her some cute jeans and really cute short sleeve shirt some cute boots and leave her hair down and curl it!

if the party is princess themed then buy her sparkly jean with a t-shirt that says something like..."I'm the princess".....some cute black-boots and her in pigtails with ribbons around each of them....Or even a  cute dress with some Mary-Jane's and lacy sock  and put a tiara on her head

if the party is a pool party..buy her a very bathing suit and bathing suit cover-up dress with  some flip-flops..make sure her toe nails are painted and put her in braids....

if the party is Hannah Montana themed... get her some cute jeans and a Hannah Montana shirt ,maybe put some streaks in her hair(wash out ones , of course)I wouldn't insist on putting on a blonde wig tho...a little creepy...Don't forgot some jewelry and may be a guitar

It depends on what type of party it is.  If it is say a Hannah Montana party go to Bon Ton for some Hannah stuff.

Take her with you and let her decide what she wants as it is her day.

A 6 year old can tell you what she likes.  Just bring her with you to pick it out.  It's not a 6 month old.

Try childrens place, gymboree, jc pennys or sears, they all have such cute outfits for spring.  Put her hair up if it is long, make her look like a princess.  little girls love it

go to like limited too and buy her a cute dress with leggings and then go to claire's and get a cute tiara and some jewelry to go with it and try nordstrom for shoes or something!

Is it for her to wear to the party or to be given as a gift at the party. If it's the former then I agree that she should just pick it out. If it's the later then look at what she owns and wears the most. Find something similar, little kids aren't big on variety. That age tends to like "character items" like Bratz, Barbie, Tweety Bird, Hannah Montana, etc... So some cute capri's/shorts/jeans with a character shirt and a hairbow to match the outfit should be a hit.

Khols has beautiful dresses for girls. You can pick one out there. As for her hair. Simple is best. Sweep it back with a few curls. Polish her nails and get shoes from Khols too.
