  1. Dont you just hate these parades?  I usually give my kids a day of school as I dont have a creative imaginative bone in my body for this stuff!  I honestly cant think of any ideas to dress a boy in a "Fairytale" costume.  That really is hard isnt it!

I usually find that most boys will come to school in their spiderman outfits for any occasion.  Usually the theme is a "Fairytale/Book character person".  Maybe if not Spiderman, Batman then dress him in a pair of denim jeans, t shirt, hat and open flanellete shirt and become a farmer!  Sure there will be plenty of farmers in fairytale stories somewhere!  Good Luck!

  2. A prince or knight in shining armor. A dragon.

  3. A fairy.

  4. If it has to be a fairy tale character, how about peter pan?  That wouldn't be too expensive...just take an old brown tee shirt from your husband and cut the bottom up jagged like.  Then put that on him with some green sweat pants or tights (if you can convince him to wear them lol) and one of your husband's belts on the top of the shirt.  Make a sword out of cardboard, cover it in aluminum foil (although some schools are so picky about "weapons" you better make sure he's allowed to bring it in), and tuck it into his belt.  The only thing you'll probably have to purchase is the hat, and you can get them at toys r us, or any store that sells costumes.

  5. knight,prince
