  1. Ok so my son was also twitching and no one knew what it was. When I called his dr and told them, they told me to rush my son to the er. Later when we took him in to his real dr she said his nervous system wasn't fully developed. But she recommended we go and get tests done. After the 1st test, there were 3 abnormalities so we had to take him for an MRI, thank god that came back normal. But I would deff. call your child's dr, even though you didn't want to hear that but only he/she can give you the real answers you're looking for. I'm sorry if I didn't help. good luck with everything.

  2. oh my goodness take your child to the e.r asap. get off your computer and go there now. dont risk it.

  3. It's not possible to diagnose the problem without a physician present. I work at a children's hospital, and it is very much possible that that he may be having seizures. Seizures can be caused by a multitude of things, including very high fevers. It is very important to get him to an emergency room ASAP so that they can treat the symptoms and diagnose the problem. There is nothing more you can do at home without possibly causing harm.

BRING HIM TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!

  4. if my child was twitching like that I probably would have taken him to the ER. That's what Doctors are for.

  5. Duty of care is to your child right now. No-one knows what is wrong with your child. Oh my god what are you doing, Any person with any change in consciousness needs emergency attention. I do not know what country you are in but call an ambulance now.

A ligit answer is that your sons life is at risk do something.

  6. Hang on one second .... you say you want LEGIT ANSWERS bit no answers like "SOUNDS LIKE"or "CALL THE DOCTOR"... christ almighty you don't want much do you ?

How the h**l are we meant to know about the seizure your son had .. and what the h**l is wrong with suggesting you see a Doctor .. any caring parent would bloody well do that BEFORE sitting down at the computer and asking a question on a public forum where you could get all sorts of misleading advice.....

this is YOUR 7 MONTH OLD SON you are asking about .. he has had something that you refer to as being seizures .. .and you don't think an answer like call the Doctor is legit.. THIS COULD BE SERIOUS for god sake remove your butt from the Chair or stool or whatever you are sitting on and take your kid to the doctor!!!

EDIT... In another question ... You say that you have a daycare ...? How would the parents feel IF you asked Yahoo Answers about a medical question .. .RATHER than call a doctor if their child ( IN YOUR CARE) took ill ? I think I would sue you .. if it were my child .. now ask yourself ... why would you deny your own child the attention of a Doctor?

  7. Uh, yeah he needs to be seen by a doctor!  Take him to the ER! That is not normal!

  8. what my doctor told me when I thought my daughter was having some seizure activity is that if she did not looked scared, and she could stop the activity when I tried to get her attention then it was most likely not a seizure. my daughter used to practically vibrate when she first woke up. she also had trouble following simple instructions "go potty" for the first few minutes until she totally woke up.

if you are really concerned you might want to grab a video camera and take video to show the doctor at his next regular appointment.
