My 7 month old black DSH male cat

Question

He is breathing raspy..i saw on another site that is not a good sign but did not say why i would like to know if i should take him to a vet and why he is breathing this way

Chances are it may be a hairball that he might be trying to cough up. However it could be as severe as an upper respitory infection. If it doesnt stop soon, take him to a vet just to be sure its nothing majorly serious.

Could just be a mild infection, a "cat cough", BUT it could also be FLV, feline leukemia virus.  Take it to the vet like now, as soon as possible and have it checked.  Do call around, though, as most vets charge different rates, if money is a concern.  24-hour clinics will charge a premium rate.

he may have a cold or  bronchitis take him to the vet and get antibiotic.
