But I don't know which one is the best, warm or cool? It's very hot were we live (between 95-100), so I was thinking the cool one. I really want use it at night, that's when my baby gets more congested.

What do you suggest??? And why?

  1. We use a cool mist humidifier year round.  It helps with my son's allergies  and asthma.  The allergist specifically said not to get a warm one, but didn't really say why.

Target has a really cute line of ultrasonic humidifiers.  We have a frog, and I know there is a cow, an elephant and thomas the train.  They run $30 to $40.  The humidifier is very quiet and easy to fill and clean.  It turns itself off when it runs out of water, which is a great feature.  I found filters for it at Bed, Bath and Beyond, and use that to keep the crusty white build-up from forming.

  2. BUY A COOL AIR W/ VICKS ..WARM AIR ONES CAN GROW MOLD..AND THE VICKS OPTION IS GREAT FOR WHEN THEIR LITTLE NOSES ARE STUFFED.. HELPS TO CLEAR THEM UP SO THEY CAN BREATH WHILE SLEEPING
