  1. Should be fine! My dog has swallowed gum too, she is fine, and was. It will come out, like if we do!! :]

  2. As long as it wasn't sugarfree

  3. Don't worry Mom.  Everything is okay.    If it's a particular flavor, you might want to check into purchasing some chewies that have that flavor.  Puppies should have fresh breath too.

  4.     Two pieces of sugarfree gum can kill a 13lb dog so it it was sugarfree your dog will prob be in trouble by now.

  5. haven't you ever swallowed your gum to get rid of it?  our guts DON'T get stuck together and it gets digested like most other stuff we eat.

  6. If it is just a small piece I wouldn't worry about it. Usually it is sugarless gum that cause problems. I would think there would have to be a lot.  With puppy's you really have to keep and eye out on what is lying around

  7. Depends on the gum. Xylitol is very, very toxic for dogs, and should be considered an emergency even when small amounts are injested. If you've got xylitol-free gum, it should pass just fine within 1 1/2 - 4 days.
