  1. This site has a few ideas.

  2. Pictures for her wall.

buy a flat bed sheet.   (Dollar General 8 bucks)  and some fabric paint.  cut the sheet into squares.  We usually do like 4

8x10 squares and let her decorate them.  We have also put sequines, beading etc on them.  Most craft stores have a clearance isle and stuff is cheap.  then put them inside wooden picture frames and hang em on the wall.    You could also get frames cheap at a garage sale or flea market and probaly even find a sheet.      Make sure you make your squares a bit bigger then the photo frame so you can wrap them around.

its fun, not really expensive and a great way to decorate her room.    You can paint the frames if you want

Then you can always use the frames over,

  3. Check out the early learning website- they have loads of things on there to make and do!

  4. I always liked to  make lanyards out of that plastic "gimp" and friendship bracelets out of that thin string. She seems old enough to enjoy that sort of thing and co-ordinated enough to pull it off. I reccomend starting off with "gimp" as it is easier to use. Then, as she gets better she can move on to more challenging patterns and eventually do the same thing with the thin string used for friendship bracelet making.

example of a gimp lanyard and how to make it:http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Lanyards

  5. make a bird feeder! Out of a soda bottle. Or you could buy one, but.............yea.....

  6. http://www.krampf.com/experiment_vid.htm...

these are not 'crafts' but they are fun experiments!!! me and my daughter have done a lot together!!!

    have fun

  7. slime...get liquid starch borax and some glue, and food coloring for the color.  You combine it; I prefer to mix it in a zip lock bag; so it doesn't get on the hands.  You use the same amount of glue/liquid starch.  Keep off of carpets!!!  But fun to play with!

  8. .you should be creative. show them new things in life. that should be fun.

  9. There are so many craft ideas out there.

When I run out of ideas I have the kids at my work make collages with unwanted magazines.

Take a trip to a craft store and you should find plenty of ideas!

  10. sock puppets are a good idea

plus they get rid of any single socks you have lurking around

  11. hang craft paper (on a long roll) on the wall in the garage or on an outside fence.  Let them paint a large mural

plant flowers- decorate clay pots with acryllic paints

create a "junk box" of things you find around the house that you would usually throw away.  start collecting items and you will have plenty of things to create with when you run out of ideas again.
