I'm sorry if this is the wrong category, but I wasn't sure where to post this!!

It's at a small county fair and I'm sure country music would be the most appropriate for the area but I don't like country music & neither does she.

Any suggestions on good songs for a 7 yr old to perform?

Thanks!

  1. On the good ship lollipop OR 20th century schzoid man

  2. Hannah Montana...as much as I hate her music, it's the best up-to-date thing for a child he age.

  3. Dead Skin Mask by Slayer.

  4. my 9 yr old half sister auditioned for a play and she sang bubbly by colbie caillat

  5. Well I can tell you not to choose, any Hanna Montana songs.  I was recently at a talent show try out with my son and we heard like 40 Miley Cyrus songs from a bunch of little girls.  We were all like ready to run out.  So pick something classic. "Annie" maybe!

  6. Nobodys perfect-hannah montana????

idk but 7 year olds like hannah montana right??

  7. "tomorrow" for Annie.

  8. all these songs im suggesting have no explicit lyrics.

    Bubbly-Colbie Calliat

    Our Song-Taylow Swift

    Love Like This-Natasha Beddingfield

    Rockstar-Hannah Montana

    All-American Girl-Carrie Underwood

    Ever Ever After-Carrie Underwood

    Jesus Take the Wheel-Carrie Underwood

    Love Song-Sarah Bareilles

    Tim McGraw-Taylor Swift

    Life is a Highway-Rascal Flatts

    You and Me-Lifehouse

    Hey There Delilah-Plain White T's

If I Had It My Way-Emma Roberts

    Unwritten-Natasha Beddingfield

    Tattoo-Jordin Sparks

    Thousand Miles-Vanessa Carlton

    So Yesterday-Hilary Duff

    SOS-Jonas Brothers

    One in a Million-Hannah Montana

    True Friend-Hannah Montana

    hope this helped.

  9. maybe some 90's pop music? that's usually pretty clean lyrics wise, yet still has some sort of appeal to it.

  10. It all depends on what music she likes, and what music suits her voice. If she has a very strong voice, she should try singing soulful songs, or songs sung by Whitney Huston, or even Christina Aguilera. Figure out what it is she likes, and what she is good at singing  and you'll easily find an answer.

  11. I don't think I can give you a specific band, but for my little brother (who is six and we make music videos all the time) we sit down a come up with a list of his favorite songs. We narrow down that list by choosing songs that aren't considered "adult" (and he's a little perv so that usually narrows it down a lot, lol) and narrow it further by picking one he knows all or most of the words to, so that he can prefect his performance.

I hope I helped and I wish your daughter all the luck in the world!!!

  12. Yea i was going to say "Tomorrow" from Annie but she could also try somewhere over the rainbow. Whatever she sings make sureit makes the judges go head over heals for her! It should be very cute.

  13. alot of classic rock country fans like(admit or not...). try slower queen songs or some Kansas. A great song to do is dust in the wind or Cary on wayward son...

  14. well their are some songs that are country music but dont sound like they are.

u dont want her to sing something totaly unrelated.

    try carrie underwood

or try miley cyrus, everyone loves her..

the song I MISS YOU is really nice and the duet with herself and her father billy ray cyrus

    the name is

    READY, SET, DONT GO

  15. i dont know its name but its a cowboy song by hi 5

lyrics "a boot scootin baby(?) drivin me a crazy soething from a wester ill dance all dya"

    its very cute

  16. My daughter is 5 and she loves songs from Hannah Montana and Hillary Duff. These girls don't sing anything with adult content, and people her age would recognize the songs.
