  1. I know you are already taking her to an eye doctor but that is the only good advice anyone can get. It is very important to get her asap. I'm just glad that you are a concerned mom who is not pushing this to the side of your to do list. Alot of parents think their children will grow out of it and don't get there eyes examined until after they are alot older and most eye conditions, like lazy eye and stuff like that can not be corrected after the child is 6.

  2. Talk to the pediatrician first.  She's still within the range of when it's normal to have some eye float.

If it's still a concern, have them refer you. Don't rush into a surgery.

  3. My daughter had the same thing going on when she was a baby though I can't think of what it was called.  Something about the nerves that control the muscles in the eye, though that may or may not be what's going on with your daughter.  It's good that you are seeing a specialist about it, the younger that a diagnosis is begun the better.  Depending on what it is the most likely thing will be to watch it at first to see if things improve.  That's what they did with my daughter, and she did eventually outgrow it.  See what the eye doctor says about it.

  4. Well, you are doing the right thing by taking her to an  eye specialist , just to be sure.

He may determine that she will grow out of it, or she may require patching, or therapy...but she is at the perfect age to start having it taken care of.

Good luck...and don't worry too much until the Dr. has had a chance to see it, and make a diagnosis.
