how about  a costume party where everyone can wear their favourite cartoon character..your daughter can wear a princess costume or a fairy

Look at what she likes a lot pay close attention to this and try to give her the best party you can think of. Get plates, cups, table cloths, of the theme get balloons a bouncing house. Try to think of other things as well that relate to the them. Also if she likes a person in specific such as (disney's belle) try to find someone to wear a costume of the character.

Hello!

When I turned nine, I had a bowling party. We went to a local bowling alley, gave everyone lei's and grass skirts (it was half luau themed), packed up some homemade chocolate cupcakes, and bowled! It was super fun!

Another thing you could do is a fifties themed party. I did that when I turned 10. We downloaded some rock 'n' roll music from iTunes, bought a few fifties-like decorations, baked a cake, had a hula-hoop contest, a dance contest, and had Whitecastle burgers (find them in the frozen dinner section of the grocery store) and Coca-Cola in real bottles. It was a blast!

A theme that my friend did was cool. She was turning 11, though so it might be a little older than what you want. It was the Academy Awards/Sleepover. We all dressed up in fine dresses and walked "the red carpet" (it was an old red sheet) with the "paparazzi" (parent's that offered to take pictures) snapped shots of us. Then inside we had movie trivia contests, makeovers, acted out scenes from famous movies (e.g. Star Wars, when Han and Luke saved Princess Leia), and then we had awards for our scenes that we'd acted out. The awards were just certificates printed out on fancy paper in a fancy font that said "Best Supporting Actress" and "Best Dramatic Performance Overall".

It was loads of fun :D

What I did for my daughters, 10th birthday is we called about 5 of her closest friends (We can seat 8 in our car) either really early in the morning or really late, and the idea was that they had to come in what they were wearing when we called. We had on girl come with a towel wrapped around her (swimsuit underneath) we set up a volleyball net, and made them some snacks, left them in the room with a Cd player, computer, and movies.

Haha, If she doesnt know what she wants for a birthday suggest simply a little house party or something with some of her friends. If she says she doesnt want that, then ask her if going to a amusement park interests her.  Usually little kids fall for the amusement park.
