My 85 century ski boat has problems taking off.?

the boat has been sitting for 5 months. its a 4 cyl. it just took $40 dollars worth of premium. 3.95 a gal. every time i try to accelerate it dies. i have to use throttle only then idle then go, to get it to go. it still had some fuel left in it, is the old fuel causing this?

Im thinking the boat had fuel stuck in it for 5 months that is gunking up the lines/filter/carburetors. Check them all and clean as necessary. Be extremely careful cleaning the carbs because they are so so so sensitive. If you dont know how to do it than bring it to a boat shop.

Seems the gas has issues> Try some carb & injection cleaner> & Octane boost
