My 8yr old son needs a snail mail penpaL I would like to have him find a child with cancer or someone who generally needs someone to brighten his day. I think if we all could touch someones life in one way or another this world would be a much better place to live.- I dont want a direct address nor will I give ours but I would like to find maybe a website to do this. Thanks for anyone who can help

check out the website for St Judes hospital in Memphis Tenn.  It is the cancer hospital for children and I am sure those kids would love to have penpals to relate to.

Check out the carepage.com, there are tons of children with illnesses on there that would LOVE to get mail and send it to soomeone.  Just be cautious, many of them are terminal, and this will effect your child.

I fell in love with Jullian Avery  (care page name: Jullian'sworld) this little guy had a brain tumor that took over him quickly, he was diagnosed last March, and he past away this past January.  Screen tham carefully or prepare your child (if you can even do so for such a thing).

If you and your son want a penpal you can go to http://www.studentsoftheworld.info and you can email kids from all around the world put be careful some people put inappropriate things on there so I would read them before you let your son looks for a penpal.
