My 9 month old daughter was chewing on a sharpie!?

Will she be ok i dont no if it was toxic or non toxic? But its a red one and i can see its on her tongue.

  2. she is going to be fine..it says nontoxic..you can call your local hospital if you are seriously worried...but im telling you she is fine..her tongue will return to normal color in a few hours....if she acts as though she cannot breath or seems to be trying to clear her throat she could be allergic..but i seriously doubt it if she hasnt already ..she wont....just remain calm

  4. She'll be ok.  Just rinse her mouth out really good with water.  

  5. If she doesn't start acting sick, I wouldn't worry about it. Guess it's time to make sure everything is out of her reach...otherwise the next thing she'll be chewing on is your checkbook :). Hopefully she doesn't get her gums on anything worse than a nontoxic marker..

    crayons might be more to her liking anyway :) try the soy ones (they're cheaper-lol)

  6. Whew! But most things these days are non toxic anyway. It shouldn't do anything to her, but she'll have a red tongue until it wears off.
