My best friend works for Farmers' insurance as an adjuster.  The site they use to determine the check for the totaled vehicle is this one:

www.nada.com

Click on Consumer, then enter the info about the car.

Another one to check is www.kbb.com

All you can look up is the blue book value, www.kbb.com, also when determining value, make sure to look at the private seller value which is higher than the value to trade in.  If you are claiming it through your insurance they will likely send out an claims adjuster that will make a determination for you.
