My 97 FIrebird Catalytic converter ?

Question

I had my catalytic converter remove and now the check engine light stays on. Is their any way to make the light go off? If so do I have to buy anything to make it go off?

i race my car and have the cats. removed the light will stay on because the sense rs know somethings not right if you take it to a mech. to shut it off it might be illegal in your state to take them off and you could get a ticket and have to put it back on i have a laptop and the soft ware for my engine because like i said i race it and had to make alot of changes and the only way is though the computer i have a 1996 camaro z28 LT1 5.7 i plug it in in the port under dash and make changes this shuts my check engine lite off until i go down the track and floor it and the nitrous kicks in so just leave it on it don't hurt anything

Replace your O2 sensors with Sensor Simulators
