  1. try a speaker from a friends car that works or a cheap 6x9 anything else but the factory speakers. if no sound then your new deck is mssed up. sometime the factory wiring doesnt allow for deck repacements alone thru the factory harness, the harness may not fit the replacements properly. another thing to check is the radio itself... is it fused??? if it has an internal amp for speaker boost it may have a fuse on the deck? good luck wiring in a new sound system can be a hassle. buy the right year model harness adapters for that deck and follow all instructions and a reinstall may get you back in tune... good luck

  2. none of these people install....if no lights on the deck the fuse is blown or power is no connected properly. if you have power to the deck (meaning the lights are on but no sound) you have a GROUND OUT most likely that means either one or more wires is touching each other. (meaning two speaker wires leading to different terminals are touching each other.) or one of your speaker leads is touching ground in the car. (most likely the first choice). you must retape all your connections and if that doesnt work, disconnect each speaker one by one until you get sound, then you will know which speaker is causing the issue.

  3. make sure all your wires are grounded properly

  4. wire shortage?

    blown speakers?

  5. if your deck is turning on it is not a fuse, it has to be the harness, if you didnt get a harness and you decided to cut the wires, then it could be a whole mess of things,  basically if thats what you did, go to a junk yard find a 95-99 neon cut the harness out connect the colors.  if you were smart and didnt cut the waires try disconnecting the harness and cleaning in out, blowing on it toothe pick, whatever you can to get in it and clean it out, that should solve the problem
