My 97maxima dies after i drive it i done replace both the fuel pump and filter what else should i check

what do you mean it dies after you drive it?  it won't restart?

could be a crank sensor or something.  take it to a dealer and get the codes read.

*thanks for the thumbs down k***s one.  what it will cost to get the codes read will be alot less than trial and error.

you've already bought a fuel pump you probably didn't need, how much money do you spend before getting help?

dont take it to a dealer unless you want to get bent over. check the alternator remove it and take it to autozzone or kragggen and have it checked out. they can tell you if its still good or if you need a new one or a refurbished/rebuilt one.i recommend a new one if thats the problem. buy an owners manuel for instructions on how to remove yor alternator its worth every penny!!! it sounds like yor alternator is not charging your battery
