Noone influenced her and no one said it was ok for her to just go in if no one is there. She went through the window. I am in shock since this is not like her at all. What kind of punishment do I go with? I can't spank her I am too angry and it would turn into a beating

Obviously much time has past.  I am sure you calmer now.

It is time for her spanking.  First she needs to know that it is wrong to break in to other people's homes.  Discuss it with her.

Then she needs to lie face down across your lap.  Panties down.  Using your hand, slap her bottom hard enough to get her attention.  Keep slapping for a few minutes.  After she is crying uncontrollably, stop the spanking.  Give her a hug and some privacy.

Wait until you calm down and then give her a sound spanking of no more than 2 hard swats per year of her age, so 18 swats on her butt with your hand.  If you wait until you are calm it will not be a beating.  If you're really worried about going to far than have your spouse do it instead.  A spanking seems like the best way to make her understand how serious her offence was and to deter her from doing it again in the future.
