My AOL Radio is not workin?

The website opens or the radio but no music comes out

Could be a firewall blocking it. Try to adjust the settings.

I reccommend not using AOL Radio, there are so many other choices. Try http://www.radio-locator.com, use the drop down box to pick a format, and there you are.

Make sure you have the latest versions of Flash and Java. They can be found easily through a search engine. Try to use the manufacturers sites (Sun and Adobe) to ensure you get the correct download. You can also lower your security settings, disable the firewall and make sure there is no pop-up blocker. Make sure AOL is listed in your favored sites.

Once you've done all this, shut everything down and UNPLUG the modem (whether cable or DSL). If there is a router or switch between the modem and the computer, try going directly into a computer (Ethernet), start up, establish the Ethernet connection and see if the music plays. If so, gradually add back the router/switch. If you lose the music again, that's the problem. It was with my computer. I had a 24-port switch that would not let the audio pass through.
