Question:

My AP results aren't here yet?

All my friends received their AP results two days ago, yet I haven't. Should I be stressed out (like I am)? I live an 30 minutes to an hour away from my friends, but I don't think this would make a huge difference. One of my friends thought it might be because I took a lot of exams (7), but this didn't make sense to me.

  1. I'm in Florida, and the scores are only starting to trickle in. I've heard that it has something to do with East vs. West Coast (the scores coming in). I'm in the same boat though, I haven't received mine, but some of my friends have. Don't stress.

  2. Yeah, i haven't either. and i took only 3. I live ten minutes away from a friend who has already gotten hers. Where do you live? I live in Texas.

  3. Don't worry. I haven't gotten mine yet either. If you don't get them by late August, call/email collegeboard and let them know.

  4. I don't have mine, either, which makes me as sad and stressed out as you seem to be. I have yet to hear a satisfactory answer for why my friends who took their tests at the same school have their scores and I do not, but I have talked to some and noticed a pattern: everyone I know who took the Chemistry exam is still waiting.

Of course, I live in Northwest Indiana, and I'm sure geography has a lot to do with it.

  5. Well I got mine today. If you don't get them by the end of august then you need to call up the collegeboard people because there might have been a problem with your address or ID # something like that. so no, you shouldn't be stressed out. good luck :)

and geez, 7 ap exams! i think id kill myself first.

  6. don't worry, yet. last year, i received my AP scores in mail 3 days before my friend did, and we lived in the same neighborhood. it might be because you took more APs... i am not sure. that friend i was talking about took one more AP than i did last year, and she got it later than i did.

if your scores don't come by late August, then there might be a problem (like with address or AP number or whatnot). then you should call College Board about it.

    good luck!

  7. I didn't get mine either and I only took two. All my friends got them but according to college board they shoudl be sent by the end of the month.

  8. Well I wouldn't worry too much about it. Your location, total of exams taken, scores on tests, which tests you took, etc. could all factor in. If you don't get them by September 1st, then I would contact College Board.
