My Acer Aspire 1 came with a customized linux. Manufatcur installed xp removed linux. Can I re-install linux?

i recently bought a new Acer Aspire 1. It was supposed to come with an Acer Customizeed Linpus Linux. I gave the manufactureer my XP Pro. CD and he installed it removing Linux. I had wanted XP and linux so that I could get a feel of Linux. Can I get the Linux back? The same Acer customized one? And can I dual boot?

if you vthe disc then you can do a dual boot. if not you need to download it

ya you can do it but i recommend u not to do it as it slows down the performance and ur laptop will often be stuck in middle of something.
