My Acer Aspire 1 came with linux installed. But the vendor uninstalled and installed XP. Can I install Linux?

Can I install linux back while still using XP? and can I use the recovery DVD given?

As a registered owner of a laptop u r entitled to use any OS. Just take proper guidance on manufacurers website to use laptop with multi OS setup. might be increase RAM's help u in future.

Of course you can Install LINUX Operating System on your computer. I   recommend Open SUSE Linux 11

Yes you can do it.but for it you should've tocreate a  dos partition in drive so that you can use both window nd linux os. Even in my pc xp nd fedora9(linux version) is installed. but after create a dos partition install the xp first nd then linux in that dos partion.

Yes u can install linux U just have to format Primary drive and install linux from bootable CD
