  1. Sorry, but a healthy bird's beak won't be growing very noticeably long.  A too-long beak on a parrot, in fact, is a sign of liver disease, and that does need professional medical care, as well as the beak needing trimming by someone who knows exactly what they're doing, aka an avian vet (it's not like wing or nail trimming, which anyone can do after watching; it's a dangerous and delicate procedure because messing up can kill the bird due to putting its beak in too much pain to be able to eat).  Either way, you should make sure he has wood toys to chew on, but he does need an avian vet to treat any health problems.

  2. try putting something he likes on the cuttlefish like peanut butter or a little jam, there are other things you can buy if this does not work vitamin cubes my grey loves to destroy these. or even wood safe for parrots, they just love to chew at things like that.

  3. How old is your bird? If it's young and you're just not familiar with this, don't be alarmed. The beak naturally grows and flakes. If you're concerned, add a cement perch to the cage, the will keep his nails and beak trimmed. Taking him to the Vet to have it dremmeled is another alternative but he won't like it. Cuttle bones are for little birds, not parrots
