My Aiptek Records Bad?

Question

Its an Aiptek A-HD. I got a Lexar 1 GB SD card for it. It should record for an hour, but it only records for about 19 seconds. I formated the memory card. What do I do, other than return it.

PS- I didnt drop it or anything

How are you recording? If it says "records for one hour at 1GB," it probably means that it does so on the lowest quality setting. The higher the quality setting, the less it can record. Chances are, you are using the highest quality setting, so it uses up much more space per minute of video.
