Ok, so I just bought a Frigidare Air Conditioner, and the power plug it uses is different than what my wall electric outlets can take in, so I bought an adapter to plug it into the wall. Would this cause problems to my Air Conditioner functioning properly? Because it doesn't seem to be making any cool air, instead it blows out gentle and sometimes warm air at its coolest settings.

Could this also be caused by not having it interacting with outdoor air? Because I am currently testing the product before I put it through the wall.

  1. You need to check the voltage rating on the A/C unit.  It might need 220 VAC.  If you're connecting it to a 110 volt outlet the motor will burn out because the lower voltage can't run it.  If the voltages match, the A/C should put out cold air, whether it's inside or not.
