My Air conditioning has been out for 2 wks and the Realty Co. hasnt done anything. What should I do?

Ever heard of "Call for Action" or "In your Corner"?  Whatever it is called, it is a team of news reporters that checks in to things that businesses or landlords are doing or not doing that need fixed.  They stand up for the little guy and get things done.  It is amazing how fast things get fixed when a news camera gets stuck in their face and they look bad.  Check out the TV channels in your area and see which one has a cousumer protection team.

If you just purchased the house get in touch with the housing authority ASAP. If you are still within the grace period from the date of purchase they are responsible for it being fixed, unless you had a home inspection. If you did, then you would have to get in touch with the person who did the home inspection and the realty company is not responsible. Best of luck... anyway you can stay with family or friends, it surely is not a good thing for you or a small child to be living in such conditions. Good luck
