My Altec Lansing inMotion im600

Question

My Altec Lansing inMotion im600 is not working properly. I can turn it on, and it says "Ipoe" instead of "Ipod" and "AUY" instead of "AUX". Then I can hit one button, either volume or source before it freezes briefly, then turns off.
