My American friend asked me to send her some stuff from the UK and Scotland..?

I sent her Thorntons choccy, lindor choccy, dairy milk melts, all sorts of other choccy we have here. A Scotland footy strip, a Scotland keyring, whiskey cake, oatcakes, shortbread.. Scottish Tablet and Macceroon bars.

I dont thnk thats enough.

What other Scottish UK stuff that we only have here can send her? x

  1. I would err on the side of caution and not send anything edible.

    the smarties rep got stopped at customs because of the red smarties, nothing to do with the fact they were red, just one of the ingreadiants that make them red was banned, he (the rep) ate all the red ones and they let him in.

    like wise you cant bring sausages from over there to over here, honest, check out the customs website

  3. Jelly Babies, Pontefract cakes if she likes licorice, McVittie's biscuits & Cadbury's chocolate bars.

    Bounty bars are good too if she likes coconut. They are really different from the Almond Joy bars that are available in the U.S.

  4. NONE AS IM NOT SURE IF YOU'RE ALLOWED TO SEND PERISHABLES IN THE POST TO OTHER COUNTRIES.

    also be aware tobuy stuff thats in date for quite some time as if you did send it it could be held up in customs for quite a while.

    send her a cookbook instead ;-)

    altho if ur still gonna send stuff anyways wot bout good english stuff we Have in england thats disgusting in US like baked beans and teabags.

    english crisps i.e seabrooks and walkers are hard to get hold of in US
