My Aunt's Washer Isn't Working Right.

Question

The water drains out of it, but about a third is still left, so it's draining, but not fully. Any ideas/suggestions on what could be wrong?

I know it's not very detailed or specific, but it's not mine so I can't explain it as well. Thanks.

if it is a whirlpool it is a bad timer

Greenjel the belt from the motor to pump could be loose. Make sure there is no kink in discharge hose.

The pump that pumps the water out on spin cycle may be messed up.Or it may not be through with it's final spin.
