  1. they head will fall out on its own. for now clean your tank and replace the bedding you could put some neosporin on the spot where the head is. it should not get sick if it starts acting strange take it to the vet. how did it get a tick anyway. you should not let it loose outside because of parasites.

  2. The head will fall out in due time.  No worries.   How did it get a tick? My recommendation would be to give your ball another thorough examination, then take everything out of its enclosure, soak all decorations, bowls, etc. in a very mild bleach solution, rinse well, dry, and then put it back.  After its set up again, put your snake back in the enclosure. Check periodically for ticks and mites.  You shouldn't have any problems, most ticks do not carry any diseases, but if you are paranoid, in about a week or two, take a fresh fecal sample into the vet and have it checked for parasites.

  3. first of all has yr snake shown any signs of abnormal shedding, anemia or weakness if this is the case you should see a vet you should also do this if its in a sensitive area such as eyes, mouth or nostrils... otherwise grab the tick by the mouth part with tweezers..pull firmly and steadily in a outward direction, extracting motion....AVOID USING YR FINGERS to prevent harmfull diseases.

  4. Once the body is removed, The tick will die ^____^  To be sure, Take EVERYTHING out of the enclosure, use 1:10 ratio bleach to water. Wash eerything, and bake any branches or rocks. If There is still mites, or ticks in the cage, It can harm him/her

  5. If the head is still attached, and you can't remove it, don't worry. It's dead.

Worst case scenario, it will come off with the next shed.
