My BlackBerry Pearl keeps deleting my text messages and call history!?

Question

I haven't DL any songs and have 10 pics saved. I don't think it's a matter of memory. In the messages, it will save e-mails sent to my Yahoo acct that I'm notified of, but all incoming and outgoing texts will be deleted. After I place a call, the record is deleted. I've had this phone less than 1 month and this is my second one! If this can be resolved, I want to keep it. Any advice is appreciated!

Get a memory card. I'm telling you! It will mess your phone up majorly if you don't. Take everything off device memory! Format your memory card and put everything on it. Also if you have Internet and use it a lot then make sure you keep your cached clear. You can clear it by going into the Internet browser-click menu key-options-cache operations-clear content. This will help in the time being until you get a memory card. Trust me, I went through the same thing.

Typically the automatic deletion of the messages is related to memory, but check the amount just to be sure. Go to Options > Status and check the File Free parameter. It should be listed in bytes. If you have less than 12000000 then you may have a problem.
