Question:

My Blue Hubbard Squash are orange?

They are coming up orange. Do they turn colors later? Or have they cross ploinated with something else?

  1. Blue Hubbard squash are always orange inside and have a bluish grey skin when they are mature.  Great for pumpkin pies.

  2. Lots of squash/pumkins skin turns orange. I suppose it has to do with the soil/zone/climate etc. Our Queensland Blue pumpkins do that ocassionally in Australia,so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
