  2. Thats just algae,

    he's been in the water a while, and he's slow,

    thats just what happens.

    No worries.

  3. Sounds like algae.  I would guess a little is normal.

  4. As everyone else says, its probably just algae. If you really want him to be clean you can always take him out and gently wash his claw but this is an unecessary stress for him. I would personally just leave him like that.
