My Bose Home Theater has frozen?

Question

It keeps showing "Bose Lifestyle" on the media center. There is a CD inside the media center. I tried to turn the power off and then back on but its not working. What should I do? High points for best answer!!!

you may have already unplugged it but if you do not leave it unplugged for longer than a minute, it doesnt truly shut it self down.  maybe try  that before making an arudous uninstall and trip back to the store.

I would seriously advise taking it back to the place you bought it, asking them to extract the disc and get your money back.

BOSE is a marketing company that makes a terrible product. They miss almost 50% of the hearing spectrum that you can hear at anything that could be considered a decent frequency response.

For the money you spend on a BOSE lifestyle system you could get a good Denon, Marantz, Pioneer Elite, Yamaha, etc., receiver and a decent set of 5.1 speakers from Polk, Paradigm, Energy, Kef, B&W, etc., and still have enough for a pint at the local pub.

Honestly, have a read through this article - there is everything to be gained from steering away from BOSE, the ease of set-up and size of the speakers are in no way positives enough to deal with the sound that comes out of them.
