It is a model BC 1000. the removable part (black plastic thing) that holds the bobbin broke, and i know i need to fix it, but it has worked decently for now. The little metal bar that stops the casing from spinning around was taken apart my by father, because it got pushed out of place. It was held in by a tiny s***w and there were 2 little pieces to it. I finally found them both, but i dont know how exactly they go in.. can anyone please walk me through putting it back together!?!

  1. Go to the website for a down load of instructions.

  2. 1. Find the appropriate Brother Sewing Machine website.

    2. Find what's called an exploded view for the area of the machine you're working on.

    3. The parts you have (and the s***w) will be shown. As well as a line connecting the s***w with the hole it goes into.

    4. Use a teeny-tiny screwdriver. (Righty-tighty, lefty-loosey) and be sure not to make it too tight. When the s***w stops turning freely, add another 1/8 to 1/4 turn.

    5. Sew what do you think?

Doing what I can with what I've got.
