My CA m15a4 tactical carbine flashhider?

i bought a sport line Classic army m4 and it came with a black metal flash hider. but i cant unscrew the plastic one. there is no hex s***w or thing on the bottom of it and i tried pliers. anti-clockwise threading and i dipped the front end into a coffee cup of hot water and soaked it in acetone but wont seem to come off

  1. There IS a set s***w. Trust me on this one. It is filled in and hidden by paint. look closely until you find the indentation and scrape out the paint with the tip of a knife, then use a hex tool to remove it. For that matter, if you're gonna discard the old flashider, scratching around on it to find the s***w won't make any difference anyway.

    My buddy didn't find the hex s***w until he'd forcably unscrewed the flashider - set s***w and all - messing up his barrel threads in the process. He had to buy a whole new outer barrel.
