My CA unemployment award letter says my benefits are ##Question_Title## but I have a phone interview Tues.Do I have a chance?

I haven't worked in a year and a half,so I don't have any benefit monies. But why are they giving me a phone interview instead of sending a denial letter?

Perhaps to help you find employment...they have companies that come to them looking for people...

If you haven't worked in a year and a half, you wouldn't be eligible.  Maybe the phone interview is just to ask you for sure if the info you submitted is right or if you had the year wrong when your last job ended.
