My Camcorder will not import

Question

I just bought the Canon HV30 today and i shoot some footage and i installed everything on the cd, but i do not have a firewire.

Can the video i took go on my laptop with the USB port, because i've tried putting it on play mode and connecting it but nothing happens?

Sorry but only through the firewire port that you can upload the video from the camcorder with the best possible quality.

Fortunately, a pcmciaa firewire card is available for you to have a firewire port for your laptop! A firewire cable is also needed as it is sold separately.....
