My Camera was in my purse when a water bottle spilled some water in it. If I dry out my camera, will it work?

It wasnt that much water, it was just along the bottom of my purse, but it wont turn on now..can I air dry it..should I use a blow dryer?

Make sure you take out the batery and any memory sticks.  Leave the compartments open and let everything dry out completely before putting it all back together to see if it works.  Otherwise if you put the battery in and there is still any moisture in the camera it will ruin it for sure.  Good luck.

I would do it for at least a day.

Oh, and I wouldn't use a blow dryer-camera is very delicate and you could actually push the moisture further in by using a blow dryer.

Leave it somwhere warm for a while, then see what develops.
