  1. try calling a lawyer or something. h**l a good ol google search should give you an answer

    PEACE

    and congrats

  2. break up with him

  3. Have him move to the U.S or you move to Canada (depending where you two want to live) and get married there, then apply for permanent residence.

  4. You file I-129F, I-864 and G-325A with the USCIS.  Expect it to take about a year for him to get his fiance visa.  He must wait in Canada, he can't come here and wait.  You can find the forms here.....

  5. Depends on where you want to get married and where you want to live.

If you want to be married in the US, he should apply for a fiancee visa and when he gets it, he can come, you get married, you sponsor him to stay in the US and he will get a work permit and later a green card and later can apply for US citizenship.

If you want to be married in Canada and immigrate there, then you can come as a tourist, get married in Canada and then you can either stay there while you file for him to sponsor you or you can go back to the US and work while you file for him to sponsor you.  The downside to applying with you staying in Canada is that even though they will not deport you while you are waiting for your papers, you can't leave again    or you might not be let back in plus it can take months for you to get a work permit.  If you go back and continue to live in the US while you wait, you can still go back and forth to visit him and the application goes a bit faster.

Whichever you do, you will need to prove your relationship to immigration.  Print out emails and chat logs, keep phonebills and get copies of prior phone bills if you have thrown them out and when you are together take lots of pictures.

  6. you both need to apply Fiancee visa so he can move here and you both can get married. You have to look at on www. USCIS.gov about Canadian immigrants.  And I think it cost around $200.00 for filing.

  7. I am in a similar situation. I am a US citizen living in Canada, who applied for permanent residence. My boyfriend was Canadian and I am American and we got married in Washington State during one of his visits and then I moved in with him in Canada as his wife. I applied for permanent residence in Canada and it is currently being processed.

Have him come down and get married, then either:

    1) Apply for permanent residence inside the US and he can live with you during the process but the drawbacks are he will not be allowed to work or anything, which is financially straining, believe me.

    2) He goes back to Canada and you stay in the US and he applies for permanent residence from outside of the US and waits for it to get approved and then moves down there with you.

Warning: It is relatively easy to apply but a very long waiting time. Check out the US immigration website for more information.

  9. He can come to the US to marry you if you guys want to live in the US. After that he can apply to become a US citizen with you as his sponsor.

I'm not sure how it work in Canada.

    I hope this help.

  10. Oh thank God! You said Canadian! People don't seem to have a problem with that! Look at the nasty things people say when Americans plan on marrying a Mexican. Same scenario different answers..........and supposedly Antis aren't racist! Think about that for a minute kids.

  11. You can get married any way that you want.  As long as it is a legal ceremony both Canada and the US will recognize it.  I am an American also married to a Canadian.

You would have to apply for a spousal visa for him if you want him to move to the US after you are married.  The spousal visa costs about 1300.00$
